I was pretty tired because I got little sleep and I drank a lot of beer yesterday so I was also really thirsty. I went out to Honow, which is technically not even Berlin anymore. It was pretty suburban but almost rural. I went out to meet this girl Carola, who I've become friends with. She's pretty rad and talks pretty honestly about herself and her life. She also speaks differently; it kind of sounds like how a deaf person sounds when they speak, but not as extreme as that. I'm not saying that to be mean, I actually think it's pretty endearing. We walked her dog and drank tea.
I read some Homi Bhabha on the subway home.
I watched "No Country For Old Men" (2007) again. The movie is adapted from a Cormac McCarthy novel of the same name. McCarthy just won the Pulitzer Prize for his novel "The Road". I'm a sucker for the Pulitzer Prize, so I want to read it.
Then I made a sandwich and drew a couple of drawings.
I talked to my sister and my mom and my dad on the phone.
I made a salad, but wasn't paying attention and accidentally put chili pepper in it instead of black pepper. The chili pepper was so spicy and ruined the salad and I couldn't even eat it. Then I rubbed my face and eyes - the chili pepper burned so much! The sensation was unbearable, I thought I was going to be blind!
This is a picture of a building that I think is ugly in Kreuzberg;
